Community Tire Collection Program:
Costs and Available Dates

Costs for tire & wheel disposal:

• $2 per passenger car or light truck tire-rim size 12", 13", 14", 15", 16", 16.5", and 17".
• Additional $2 each for any of the above if on a rim.
• $20 per tractor trailer-19" to 22". No rims, please.
• $20 per farm tractor rear tire. Again, no rims please.

Example: four 15" light truck tires on rims are $2 each, plus $2 each for the rims, or a $16 total costs to the resident for disposal and recycling.

Unfortunately, we had to send this one back. We cannot accept construction equipment tires or tractor trailer tires on rims.

Public collection hours:
9 AM to 12 Noon on Saturdays.

Municipal Officials: Do you want to hold a tire collection in your community?
To reserve one of the above listed Saturdays for your round-up, please e-mail us at info@independenceconservancy.org, and we will work with you to set up your collection. Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can start on your publicity and make arrangements for your dump trucks to haul the cut tires to Allied Waste Imperial Landfill.
