2009's Gateway to PA Trash Sweep was a tremendous success! With help from forty volunteers and five municipalities in two states, a triaxle load of tires and trash were plucked from five miles of roadside and from the cliff above Little Beaver Creek. Watch the video to learn more.


Great PA Cleanup 2010 - "Gateway to PA Trash Sweep"

will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010
from 9 AM to 12 Noon on Route 68 in Ohioville Borough, PA

We will be working early in the spring before the grass starts to grow so that we can see all the trash and pick it up more easily. Please dress for the weather!

From the Ohio State Line to the Midland Borough Line
Saturday, April 10 ~ 9 AM to 12 Noon

Volunteer Registration
at Ohioville's Lock 57 Community Park at Route 68 and Calcutta Road beginning at 8:30 AM

We will provide:

  • Gloves, bags, orange vests and safety instructions
  • Free hot lunch & drinks for registered volunteers courtesy of Noll Funeral Home
  • Hand washing and restrooms at the new Ohioville Borough Park at Route 68 and the mouth of Little Beaver Creek

Please:

  • Dress for the weather
  • Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long sleeves
  • Children must be at least 10 years of age and must be closely supervised by an adult
